Basically we were asked by this great label Astral Spirits to get them a tape. In exchange they would fly us down to Austin, TX for a few shows. We happily obliged. We took a live recording from Death By Audio that we had just unearthed, recorded by Weasel Walter as an afterthought. I asked him to roll on his Zoom just before we started playing and he agreed and kindly sent us the result. We took the live recording to Spaceman Studios in Greenpoint where they improved the basics a bit (brought up that kick drum slightly). Then we added outtakes from our Family Vineyard album of last year to round things out. As an off-the-cuff release it’s actually pretty damn essential. There are still a few around. . .hand numbered – 150 copies.
