I’m working on establishing a free, yearly music festival in my neighborhood. In 2021, we kicked it off with funds from the NY City Artist Corp Grants and hosted Oneida, jaimie branch trio, Ava Mendoza/gabby fluke-mogul and the Kid Millions/Sarah Bernstein Duo.

This year I’ve received a grant from the Church of Noise and am waiting to hear from the Queens Arts Council and other grant agencies. I still need funding – so please contact me via kidmillionsdrums at g mail dot com with “Woodhaven Music Festival” in the subject line if you are interested in chipping in. I’m looking for help funding the PA and artist fees. The festival will take place on Sat Sept 17, 2022 (rain date Sun Sept 18) at the Seuffert Bandshell in Forest Park.
